Online Safety Organisations and Support

Below is a list of leading safeguarding and online safety organisations where you can find additional Online Safety guidance and help:

Internet Watch Foundation: A leader in preventing online child sexual abuse with a great guide on supporting families experiencing sextortion.

NSPCC Online Safety: The NSPCC is probably the most widely known child protection organisation in the UK. It has a wide range of safeguarding advice and a growing set of online safety articles and resources.

UK Safer Internet Centre: Known for its annual Safer Internet Day, but has a whole range of guides and resources, including specific sections for parents and carers.

CEOP for Parents: Part of the National Crime Agency, CEOP helps to protect children from online harm, including sextortion. They have a dedicated are for parents which contains advice and details on how to seek support. Mrs Wakefield is our trained CEOP Ambassador.

Childnet for Parents: Another well-known organisation for children, but did you know that Childnet also has advice and resources for parents.
