Focus: The importance of meal planning The students focus on learning how to plan a meal based on the main sections of the Eat Well Guide, they will learn what ingredients go on each section and the main nutrients, they will also learn about food labelling freshness, bacteria prevention, budgeting when shopping and identifying free range and organic products. The pupils will also take part in weekly practical lessons that fit the subject and encourage independence. |
