Dyslexia

On entry to LGS, all pupils are screened for dyslexia using Lucid Software products: LASS 8-11 and LASS 11-15.  Pupils whose results suggest dyslexic tendencies are referred to our Literacy Specialists for further investigation using Dyslexia Gold programme.  Further support may be sought from dyslexia specialists from Thanet Inclusion Support Services.  Where dyslexic tendencies are confirmed, a support programme is created and monitored by our Literacy Specialist staff.
